The Zauberlehrling is a small family owned business located in the middle of the „Bohnenviertel“ in Stuttgart. We want to excite you not only for our business but for culinary art.

The Zauberlehrling, with its subtle and elegant interior design, is known for its modern craftmanship and high standards. This lays the very foundation for head chef Fabian Heldmann’s cuisine.

Using seasonal and regional products and combining them with delicacies from overseas, he has been able to create a modern haute cuisine – a tradional French foundation with Asian influences. No matter what, great taste is always our top priority.

Whether it’s a refreshing char served with apples, caviar and celery or a perfectly fried piece of US Wagyu Beef with smoked beet and port wine, the clear tasting and perfectly staged dishes served by Fabian Heldmann and his team will take you by surprise and, as the Michelin Guide put it, „trump with tasteful depth and lovely balance.“

Head chef Fabian Heldmann likes to describe his style of cooking as „cosmopolitan and innovative modern classic cuisine“ and says: „I want to create harmonious compositions, combining different tastes using perfect products as a base and have it be convincing not only visually but, most importantly, in taste. I’m a chef of passion.“
