Sing the Spring
The spring menu for singing and cooking alongLivestream from the Zauberlehrling on April 17th, from 6pm.
Star cuisine meets singing? Culinary sophistication based on humor? Veronika on spring? All of this can be experienced at the same time during our live stream encounter, when star chef Fabian Heldmann from the Stuttgart gourmet restaurant “Der Zauberlehrling” meets the musician Patrick Bopp alias “Memphis” from the Stuttgart ACappella comedy formation Füenf. The two are flanked at the bar by winemaker Felix Ellwanger from the Ellwanger estate in Winterbach
Fabian will show and explain live how the fine contents of the enjoyment box, which was available in advance, were prepared, individual dishes can be snipped right away and the experienced star chef can be looked over the shoulder. He's sure to reveal a few technical insider tips while serving and shares some of his ideas that give the sorcerer's apprentice's kitchen that special touch.
Patrick will sing songs with you as an amuse bouche at the beginning, as a sorbet between courses or as a digestif at the end, which will correspond at least as much as the accompanying wine, which Felix will comment on every course, sometimes tangy, sometimes dry. As a moderator, Patrick will stand in the kitchen with his piano and ask the questions that burn the soul of the esteemed audience. And if he should forget something: Via the chat you can actively participate, ask questions and add to the action, the live chat master on site will interfere again and again and pass your comments on to Fabian and Patrick.
And what else is going to happen? Will Patrick cook? Will Fabian sing? Will Felix gargle a spring song with Pinot Gris?
We don't know yet, anything can happen and that's why we want to dare this experiment and look forward to it.
Be there, sing along, cook with us (the livestream will still be online afterwards, so that you can look back on the steps in a relaxed manner) and have a relaxing hors d'oeuvre with us and the other viewers on an enjoyable Saturday evening.

The protagonists:
The gastronomy and the cultural and event industries are currently hands tied. So the idea arose to join forces across all divisions and creatively face this situation in order to experience spring together and enjoyably.
After years of apprenticeship and traveling across Germany, star chef Fabian Heldmann has been the sorcerer's apprentice chef since 2016. Through his travels to Hong Kong, South Africa, Peru, Japan and Spain, among others, he brings his impressions of top gastronomy with him from all over the world. His commitment and his great ideas with a lot of new wind earned him a star in the Michelin Guide in 2019. (www.zauberlehrling.de)
The musician Patrick Bopp has been a member of the Stuttgart ACappellaComedy troupe "Füenf" for over 25 years and has been offering the sing-along format "From full throat for the soul" in Stuttgart's Rosenau for 6 years. At the premiere of the 1st Stuttgart Christmas Singing 2019 in the Gazi Stadium under the television tower, over 4,000 enthusiastic singers sang Christmas carols together under his guidance.
Since the first lockdown in March 2020, he has collected edifications in over 20 livestreams in this bridging discipline. (www.patrickbopp.de)
The organizer and director Stefan Kraft founded the culture office Sorglos in 2018 as a networker and cultural-political actor to create spaces for music, performance and interdisciplinary cultural projects. In the current situation, the free cultural office tries to use the digital and analogue spaces in between to give the artists a stage, the cultural workers a chance, the technicians a job and the people the most personal cultural experience possible. The winemaker Felix Ellwanger runs the Ellwanger winery in Winterbach together with Jörg and Sylvia Ellwanger and continues the winemaking tradition that has existed since 1514. Thinking outside the box, old and new grape varieties, large wooden barrels and small barrique barrels, modern and proven production methods are brought into connection. (www.weingut-ellwanger.de)
